History of tennis
The first regulation of tennis, a sport probably derived from similar games of antiquity, was established by the Englishman Walter Clopton Wingfield in 1873, giving the game the name sphairistike; the following year it spread to the United States thanks to Mary Outerbridge; The definitive regulation dates back to 1888 when the English Tennis Association was established. In 1896 tennis was included in the program of the first modern Olympics and remained there until 1924, then it was removed and then readmitted in 1988. The word tennis probably derives from the French “tenez” = hold, take, which corresponds to the call launched by French players when hitting the ball. Tennis is played on a rectangular court, usually 23.78 m long and 10.97 m wide.
Who we are
Teaching how to educate is particularly complex, but at the same time fascinating, precisely because you are constantly confronted with your own experiences, in front of people who are different from each other. My name is Francesco Nardi and I have been playing tennis since the age of 7. Today at 58 years old after many experiences on the court as an amateur max 3 category, and as a teacher, I always see tennis as a way to live a healthy life. Whether the young student can become a champion or not, the most important aspect is learning to live as an athlete. Discipline love, for one’s body and respect for others. While it may seem easy to learn, the truth is that tennis requires a number of technical and tactical skills that only a professional tennis coach can teach. An experienced professional tennis coach has the knowledge and skills to teach players of all levels, from beginners to professionals.
